A la edad de ocho años, Marcel es abandonado por su madre.
El niño crece junto a su abuelo Pascual que le descubre las cosas más importantes de la vida
y le da el cuidado que su madre le ha negado.

Años después, cuando Marcel tiene veintiún años, necesita volar del nido y vivir su propia vida.
Planea irse a vivir con su novia y dejar la casa de su abuelo en la que se ha criado.
Pero en ese momento su abuelo padece unos extraños síntomas.

Le diagnostican Alzheimer. Los planes de Marcel cambian radicalmente y empieza una dramática cuenta atrás.
Nieto y abuelo vuelven a estar muy cerca el uno del otro hasta que se miran por última vez.
Después del funeral, Marcel encuentra una carta de su madre que le hará viajar a Berlín y vivir allí emociones inospechadas…

At the age of eight, Marcel is abandoned by his mother.
He is raised by his grandfather Pascual who drives him into a world
of fantasy and gives him the love and care that his mother couldn't.

Years later, when Marcel turns twenty-one, he thinks that the time to live by his own is arrived.
He's got plans with his girl friend and wants to leave his home.
But at that time Pascual has turned old and starts showing the symptoms
of a disease that will affect Marcel's plans dramatically. He is sick of Alzheimer.

Marcel will have to postpone his plans in order to take care of his grandfather... the only real relative he ever had.
MARCEL and his grandfather get on well again, and are very close now.
The tenderness they feel for each other emerges again.
MARCEL and PASCUAL see each other for the last time.

MARCEL finds a old letter of his mom with an address in Berlin.
MARCEL sad, angry and totally lost and confused,
leaves Spain and travels to Berlin looking for his mother.
There he will live unexpected experience and strong emotions…
